Detention is a survival horror RPG set in 1960s Taiwan and developed by Red Candle Games. The game begins with Wei’s point of view and soon switches to Ray’s, with the school evolving into a nightmarish version of itself inhabited by malevolent monsters known as the “lingering”.
Players must solve puzzles to gradually unravel the mysteries of the school and learn more about Ray and Wei. Religious aspects based on Taiwanese culture and mythology are also included in the game.
