How to disable the pop-up blocker in Mozilla Firefox


By default, Mozilla Firefox blocks all popups on your websites. If you want these pop-ups to appear, you’ll need to disable the built-in pop-up blocker first. We’ll show you how to do this in Firefox on desktop, iPhone, and iPad.

Note: Firefox’s Android app doesn’t have a pop-up blocker, which means you don’t have to do anything to enable pop-ups. You are already activated.

Disable the popup blocker in Firefox on the desktop

To disable the pop-up blocker in Firefox on your Windows, Mac, Linux, or Chromebook computer, first start Firefox on your computer.

Select “Settings” in the menu that opens.

On the settings page, click “Privacy and Security” in the left sidebar.

Allow pop-ups for specific websites in Firefox

One good thing about Firefox is that you can enable pop-ups for certain websites while blocking them on all other websites. To do this, click Exceptions next to the Block Popup Windows option (this option must be enabled). In the “Allowed websites – Pop-ups” window that opens, enter the full address of the website on which you want to activate pop-ups, click on “Allow” and then click on “Save changes”.

To allow websites to display pop-ups in Firefox on your iPhone or iPad, first open Firefox on your phone.

In the lower right corner of Firefox, tap the three horizontal lines.
