Windows 11 includes a feature called AArchive apps With it, you can manage apps and automatically save disk space and bandwidth.
The feature automatically hides any Microsoft Store apps that you don’t use frequently. The Archive Apps feature gives the impression of uninstalling the app without completely removing it from your system.
The app offloading process frees up storage space and its services do not use network bandwidth. If you want to save disk space and bandwidth, you should enable archive apps on Windows 11. That’s how it’s done.
How to enable archive apps on Windows 11
The feature should be enabled by default, but it’s worth double-checking in case it’s been disabled.
You can enable or disable the archive apps feature on Windows 11 with the following steps:
- press the Start button and select settings from the start menu.
- When Settings opens, click applications from the column on the left.
- click Apps & Features to the right.
- Expand the More settings section in the following menu and select the Archive apps Possibility.
