YouTube’s restricted mode blocks adult content on the platform. If you want to see this content, you must first turn off restricted mode on your device. This is how you do it.
Note: You have to deactivate the restricted mode on each of your devices individually, as YouTube does not synchronize this setting on your logged-in devices.
Cases when you cannot turn off restricted mode
If your organization has enabled Restricted Mode on your device, you’ll need to contact them to turn it off. Even if your YouTube (Google) If your parent’s account is managed using the Family Link app, your parents must turn off Restricted Mode on their device.
In either of the above cases, you cannot deactivate the mode yourself.

Turn off restricted mode on YouTube on mobile devices
On an iPhone, iPad, and Android phone, you can turn off restricted mode yourself using the YouTube app. If you’re using an Apple device, take note of this Enable restricted USB mode on your phone to secure the phone.
First, open the YouTube app on your phone. In the top right corner of the app, tap your profile icon.
In the profile menu, tap on “Settings”.
On the Settings page, tap General.
There are several options on the General page. Find and turn off the “Restricted Mode” option.
You are done. Restricted mode is now disabled in the YouTube app on your particular device. If you use YouTube on multiple devices, you must deactivate the mode on each device individually.
By doing this, you are allowing YouTube to display content in your feeds that it believes is not suitable for minors.
