King Steel promises to become an industry leader under the “MICS” logo

King Steel Machinery Co (鉅 鋼 機械), a leading shoe machine manufacturer in Taiwan, has developed a system with multiple injectors and multiple tool workstations over a long period of time – and is thus far ahead of its competitors in terms of electromechanical integration.

The company took its turnkey solution and created the “MICS” brand – multiple injector and mold clamping system – which was enthusiastically advertised with positive and broad applause.

King Steel recently received a major order from a well-known international manufacturer for the system, which can be used to manufacture many different products, such as vehicles, everyday goods, bicycles, electronics and semiconductors.

Jim Chen (陳 ç’Ÿ 浩), a special assistant to King Steel’s CEO, said the company has Siemens’ digital twin software NX-MCD, which can be used to simulate machines in customer meetings before their high-end value-added applications are developed .

With the help of Lee and Li, Taiwan’s largest patent law firm, King Steel can discuss the injection materials, manufacturing processes, special functions and initial patent layouts with customers step by step.

After the customer has confirmed the order, the company uses the software to generate virtual production systems, operates them online and ensures that the machine location in the factory layout does not disrupt the workflow.

After confirming that the machine design is working, King Steel will manufacture the production equipment specified by the customer.

Chen said the “MI” in the “MICS” logo resembles the shape of four sets of injectors from the top, while the shape of the “ICS” is a metaphor that conveys that MICS is the exclusive core integration of King Steel’s engineering capabilities.

Its full English name is “Multiple Injector and Mold Clamps System” and the pronunciation of MICS is the same as “Mix” which means King Steel can provide bespoke R&D services for multiple injection molding systems and multiple molding workstations. In other words, depending on the customer’s material process and production planning needs, the company can quickly mix different spray systems and mold workstation systems on a single device, achieving the ideal goal of “achieving maximum efficiency and performance with minimal use of resources. ”

In practical applications, MICS can be equipped with four injector sets according to the number of modular stations – from 4 to 20 stations – depending on customer-specific requirements. It can be used flexibly to produce two-color or single-color finished products with linear, disc or shape configuration specially designed for small, diverse and multi-color jobs, and the equipment utilization can reach 100 percent.

Its modular architecture can maximize the benefits of manufacturing management and meet the needs of research and development and testing, mass production and product management that the traditional process cannot. After all, it aims to achieve optimizations and improve production efficiency, reduce costs, lead the development of the industry and drive new trends in the industry.

MICS is equipped with flexible left and right two-way injectors, double injectors for single material loading or double injectors for double material loading, which can be injected independently and mixed. In connection with application settings such as sampling, trial production or mass production of each station, it can run different production modes and at the same time switch off a single station for maintenance work.

The structure of the machine breaks the traditional production mode, in which a single injector is aimed at a single workstation. It uses multiple injectors and multiple workstations with various combinations for flexible production.
