The Graphiti Plus has 2400 pens arranged in forty rows and sixty columns to display graphics and an array of forty braille cells. A high-quality Perkins-style braille keyboard and cursor-routing keys allow for easy and fast braille text entry and editing. Its HDMI input offers a seamless connection to any device that has a video output, without the need for special software or drivers. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and USB. Touch functionality allows users to point to any text on the graphic display and instantly translate it to Braille on the TrueBraille™ display. This enables entirely new paradigms for reading and creating content.

The Graphiti Plus can be used standalone or connected to a computer, mobile device, or other graphic and text source. In standalone mode, it is a fully self-contained content creation and consumption solution. It includes a powerful Linux computing platform and onboard apps. It comes with a braille and graphic file reader and editor supporting many popular formats, and can also create and display graphic files with embedded braille labels that are touch-activated while the user explores the image. Other onboard apps include a calculator, clock with alarm, and braille translator supporting over forty languages. Its open and extensible Linux computing platform is future-proof and allows third-party developers to create new applications for the platform.

When connected to a computer or smartphone, the Graphiti Plus leverages the rich screen reader ecosystem developed for the Orbit Reader family of braille displays to provide instant access to Windows, Mac OS, iOS, Android, Chrome OS and , Fire OS and Linux systems.
